Agreed. The 1st and 3rd gen MR2s are decent little scooters but gutless. Even the supercharged ones lack punch. The MkII MR2 was better in virtually every regard, and really nice in the turns..

Here’s the thing about Neilsen ratings- they’re trash. They’re irrelevant. And in the past decade, they’ve become wildly inaccurate because of streaming. Streaming companies are never gonna share their data with Neilsen, because, why the hell would they?

This, so much this. If you’re in LA, you have two legendary options IMHO that are better than any chain. One is obviously Bay Cities. The Godmother is the best of all LA sub sandwiches. Then there’s Larchmont Wine and Cheese- they’ve got a sandwich bar at the back, serving up simple subs that are my personal fav. So…

Can confirm, I used LA Brea every day for years to get to Hollywood from the south bay. that downhill section just north of slauson is quite steep, and it opens way up from the top of the hill there so that regular cars can be pretty much hauling ass when they hit that intersection...
