I can’t be the only one who thought of this when I read ‘Fiona O’Shaughnessy’:

Check your numbers dude. There’s no way Dongguan is more than 8 million people.  If it were 65 million people it would be the biggest city in the world by a factor of 2.

I dunno. Remote operation of robots? Aren’t robots usually, you know, robotic (ie automated)? I don’t really see a myriad of broad use cases where VR will really enhance work-from-home. Sure, meetings in VR! Of course, what’s wrong with zoom? Remote operated surgeries, perhaps?

Ahh, so Campion is THAT type of woman. The kind that needs to belittle every other woman in the room to secure her own dominance.  You can be damned sure this isn't the first time she's done that to another woman/women.  Why do so many successful women stoop to this shitty behavior?

It is an extra wee moment, but i see what you did there

KK is a pretty dim bulb, to be sure. All this crowing about her passing the ‘Baby Bar’ after 3 years of studying is comically awful. Your ordinary law student learns everything on the Baby Bar in 2 semesters in law school, 9 months. My wife passed the full CA bar without taking BarBri (an expensive study course) and

Nah, Musk is a pretty bright guy in a lot of ways.  He is certainly socially deficient, and infantile.  But he’s a devoted and learned engineer and knows a lot.

As someone who worked as an editor on DWTS (when KK was on) AND on the moronic/short-lived Kris Jenner talk show, can confirm. KK is a hard worker, certainly, but an empty head. Kris is a vile, bloodthirsty climber who comes across as ‘nice’.

BRUH.  As the owner of two minivans, I’m so here for that.  Make it happen and take my money.

I wasn’t looking for a ‘gotcha’. That was you with the smug ‘go Google Azov battalion and get back to us!’ line.

Yeah yeah, those 1000 neo nazi idiots rubber-stamped by the previous president. Sure. That represents .5% of the entire Ukranian military. I would imagine the good ‘ol US of A has a comparable percentage of closeted white supremacists in our ranks of military too.

Last I checked, Ukraine wasn’t ‘committing’ a war. That’s what the knuckle-draggers in the Kremlin are doing. The Ukrainians are simply trying to prevent themselves from getting steamrolled.

>> The book is called Tech Noir though, and there’s a lot of both in there. “Noir” for all the dark, mysterious images he made both for his own films and films of other filmmakers. And “tech” for all the cool technology Cameron just designed on his own.

I LOVED that! The transporter trick was one of the few times I was really blown away by an interactive entertainment.  It took me a few minutes of scratching my head to figure out how the hell they did that.

Well hey, that’s probably the most existential car review I’ve ever read. LOL

War is every bit as relevant to today’s ‘society’ as it was 1000 years ago. I’d be willing to wager a great deal of money that back then, most people roaming the earth were content to avoid conflict, and the wars that did occur were precipitated by elites with access to money and influence (ie. propaganda, etc). Now

Errbody’s oohing and ahhing at the Vanderhall and the 1M, but that Starlet’s my jam. $11k is at the tippy top of the appropriate range.. I see they were originally fishing for $14k.  Haha you wish

except that many of those irreplaceable muscle cars would still auction for a lot less than a factory-fresh aventador.  This was a very, very, VERY costly fire
