Spent my formative film school years in LA. Distinctly remember noticing the cryptic ‘The Room’ billboard on Highland just south of Santa Monica Blvd., and went to a screening to see what it was all about. I mean, I’d been to Rocky Horror screenings in the past, and The Room screenings were better.

First thing I noticed too. Only white keys.
Remember ‘Spin-art’ from way back in the day? That might give you some idea
It’s great, but remember, it’s just the prototype. Everything pivots on the full-size system. I can’t wait to see them give that a whirl.
Thank you. I saw that little data point in the slide show and openly blurted out “Da FUUU?”
These type of posts make one realize how little most people know about commercial loans. For something as boring and ostensibly predictable as a gas station with an assumedly decent track record of business, a bank would ABSOLUTELY loan someone the money to buy it. Banks love low-risk, predictable investments in which…

Isn’t that also an early 90's Camry mill? One of my high school buddies had that for his car... mildly peppy and yes, pretty goddamned reliable
I’ve done an 18 hour day. I don’t think its THAT unusual for someone really angling to cover a lot of ground who is well rested and armed with enough caffeine.
A properly maintained 1NZ-FXE, 2GR-FE, etc- hell, all the way down to the 22R- can easily outlast most of the rest of a toyota. my 2007 sienna just crossed 200k miles; I do synthetic every 5k miles and it runs like new, even if the rest of it looks like dogshit
I’ve never heard of a used car dealership being so accomodating

I worked as Lead Assistant Editor on season 1 of Joe Millionaire. The production company was called Rocket Science and was headed up by one of the more notoriously loathsome executive producers in reality TV. I was assigned to his favorite editor, an incompetent, vicious asshole of a man who would daily scream at me,…
Yeah, you might Godiva in the water
Engines, transmissions, frames, suspensions, body panels, etc- all heavy industry where there is a lot of overlap in how these things are made. Also, they’ve been doing it for damn near a century and had that time to perfect the production process.
The coastal elites have it over the flyovers in this round. Mashed taters, always solid, stuffing, thats fine, sweet potatoes with marshmellows, hell yes.
I worked as an editor on DWTS for 10 years (season 6-25) and quit when there was a changing of the guard at the executive producer level. In fact the entire post production staff quit at the same time for similar reasons. The show has backslid since then; the packages no longer feature any story content of substance,…
3rd on the Transit. Not only nice and new-ish, but a killer gear/people hauler. Love those things.
