Can verify, I owned a 2002 and had two of these go out.  At a dealer, a window regulator job is like $500. At a indy garage, more like $300. But it’s an easy at-home job for like $50-100 if you’re even the slightest bit handy.

Its not the engine specifically, its the tuning of that particular 2GR and the transmission. That almost-same motor in a Highlander and/or a Sienna mated to their AT is pretty damn great.  It’s just a poor/cost-cutting choice on Toyota’s part to think that the 3.5 can be a jack-of-all-trades.

Neither here nor there, but I have yet to have a wholly satisfactory experience using Lyft or Uber. Neither has ever been cheaper than a cab for me, and the number of times my rides have been cancelled by Uber’s shitty app has compelled me to just walk over the the readily available taxis when I’m at LAX.

Good for that artist. I understand the desire to protect IP but for an artist to monopolize a color seems fairly chickenshit. I don’t dispute the legality of it, I just have a problem with stifling artistic expression.
