As a grunt in the trenches of the film/TV industry, you see it all the time. I’m sure the same applies to the Video game biz.

Unsure if I’m in the minority here, but Free Guy looks pretty terrible to me. And now realizing that’s it’s Shawn Levy-I’ll give him his involvement in projects as a producer is pretty solid, but not a huge fan of his directorial work. Didn’t like Night at the Museum(s), didn’t like Cheaper by the Dozen, etc.. .
This is a new one to me. I'm dying over here. Take your star.
>> “Our plan is to make the operation so simple thata woman can easily put the two systems together—or separate them—without help,” Smolinski told reporters.
Yeah, what really rankles me is that these grow lights are ostensibly burning fossil fuels to be powered, in lieu of that perfectly serviceable grow light currently hanging up in the sky.
I don’t think that's makeup, that's an incredibly poorly utilized digital filter that make him look like Herman fucking Munster
The best cheap laptop out there right now is the Motile m142 (Walmart house brand). 14" aluminum body, Ryzen 3500u, Vega 8, 8GB RAM and 256GB m2 SSD. I got a proper refurb off eBay for $280, but brand new they still land under $400. That’s a smoking deal for that level of performance. Linus Tech Tips tore one down and…
I -almost- loved my 4L ‘97. The engine blocki goddamned nuke proof, even if it’s a little light on power. The big issues for me are a) electrical and b) the exhaust manifold, which WILL crack on you and make the thing 10x louder. So annoying.
Haha, holy crap, nice catch!
OMG those headlights almost look photoshopped to be that grotesquely large. Like something out of a Soundgarden video
Sure, it’s impressive. Now arrest the shitheels who did it, strip them of their driver’s licenses, impound the car, and chuck their asses in prison for 3-5 years.
>> I don’t believe Jalopnik or any other serious car site has ever endorsed street racing.
This is a fantastic breakdown of the Y, David. Damned thorough. Bravo.
My guess is, under the circumstances, with all the available video evidence, his insurance isn't going to be very helpful this time around
Jesus, when will people learn?
Bankruptcies don’t happen in a vacuum. Companies that sell stuff on credit that need to have their debt removed via bankruptcy make up the difference by charging everyone else to make up the loss. You can equate it to medical costs. People who don’t have insurance drive costs up for everyone else that so have it,…
I love cars. I love talking about them, I love watching them race, I love car shows, and I love wrenching on my 18 year old WRX that is fucking free and clear and works just damn fine for my purposes.
Thanks for the non sequitur! You’re clearly not in your 20's, nor idealistic, but I suppose 1 out 3 ain't bad.
I assume you’re talking about the new AMD 4900h. Which, while an incredible chip and better than anything Intel offers in the mobile world, is still generally slower than a 9900k, which is what is offered on the Area 51m. So unless you're looking at different benchmarks than me, I don't think I'm wrong.
You’re moving the goalposts. You asked what the fastest laptop would be, and he answered. The A51m has a fold-down screen over a portable body, thus it’s a laptop. The fact that it has desktop-grade components is irrelevant except that it does indeed make it incredibly fast for that form factor.
