Unsure what you mean. The Ascent has like 85 cu ft of cargo space. A typical minivan has almost double that.

Considering the alternatives- vans and wagons- which usually get better mileage and can haul just as much (if not more than) their SUV counterparts, yeah, I think it’s fair to call SUVs big and stupid.
