And finding a shady spot under a sap-dropping tree is like finding an expired golden ticket...with poo on it.

This is definitely one thing they’re doing right.

I totally agree! I really miss this trend. It still exists to some extent; it was one of the things that I really enjoyed about the new Raptor

That’s a good answer.

Man I wish that Camaro came in wagon form

Yeah I still miss it sometimes. It was a whole different feel.

I actually had power steering and I remember it being very loose and easy to turn. I could easily hook it with a pinky and bring it anywhere I needed.

My first car was a 65 Mustang and the steering wheel was about as thick as my ring finger (maybe thinner, it’s been a while). Needless to say after driving that for the three years or so, it took some serious adjustment to get used to the much thicker wheels of today.

Just whatever you do, don’t bury them in the old parts cemetery. They’ll come back, but they’ll never be...quite right.

Sure, what else you got? ;-)

I’m with you. I have much more interest in finding the redeeming qualities of cars that hold little interest with others for some reason. I guess it’s the hipster in me or something.

Totally agreed on the TSX. It and the TL are still shockingly sexy.

Yep. It may not be my stated goal, but I fix my catalytic converters when they fail, recycle my used oil, minimize my plastic usage and never hesitate to rub my face in a kitten.

I’m with you. This is actually my favorite body style for the LS. It wasn’t amazing or groundbreaking, but it’s handsome and has good lines.

Yep. Mine gets reset when the battery gets disconnected.

These days as long as you and the POs kept up with oil changes turbos should just work for the most part. If you end up needing to replace them the good news is there’s plenty of used ones out there that can be had for not a lot of money. Of course getting it swapped in is a bit of a challenge...

Me likey. Well done.

Oh goddamn yes

Yep, it’s a labor of love for sure. If you don’t love it, don’t buy it.

My thoughts exactly. Even the more pedestrian S60s still hit a note with me. Nothing wrong with a T5. They’re actually the reason I’m driving an ‘04 XC90 T6
