I regret it all, but I’m glad it happened.
I regret it all, but I’m glad it happened.
You know, I rented a 2012 Audi A4 2.0T for a week not too long ago, and then got a (I dunno, new?) Chevy Cruze LT last week as a loaner for the afternoon. I enjoyed the Cruze vastly more. The Audi’s transmission was terrible.
It’s nice. A little slower going, but nice.
Pooped while driving? That sounds like a feat.
Damn, me too. Getting old I guess
They weren’t bad cars, just unattractive. I could see how it could grow on someone though.
Not driving to work lets you keep enjoying the act of driving.
Well the tie rod and chain thing was horribly funny.
A lot of modern cars make you pull the shifter up to remove it. Problem is, as you’d expect, it takes quite a bit of effort to remove them. One of the first warnings in the howtos is always “don’t hit yourself”.
Oddly enough I even do this with rental cars a little bit. Hits me in the feels every time.
Nice, I’m in the same boat! I had one lesson and got us to the restaurant and back. The emergency room is totally doable, it just may need a new clutch by the time I get there.
True, it’s a matter of context. I still don’t condone it, but given the right context it makes sense.
Fair enough. I’ll revise my earlier statement to “they add 2 or 3 feet to the overall width”.
It was a 2004 XC90 T6. For some reason I haven’t seen complaints from anybody else, but I went through no less than 2 timing belt kits from INA. The tensioner on both squeaked like it was ready to fall off. The squeaking finally stopped after I replaced it with a genuine Volvo kit (which used INA components). I…
It may be a matter of context. I don’t know what things are like in Russia, but I know that if I intentionally rammed someone for a arguably minor infraction like getting cut off, I’d be in jail. Jail may be a bit of an overreaction as well, but personally I’m glad not everyone has free license to ram other cars…
So is deliberately ramming another vehicle with yours. Pretty sure that’s assault with a deadly weapon. His reaction is completely disproportionate to the situation.
This. That adds way more than a foot to the overall width. More like 3 or 4. I think the gigantic Texas freeway lane is throwing the perspective off. There’s so many streets you couldn’t drive down with wheels like that in my area.
There doesn’t look to be any attempt at trying to stop though. He just continues going the same speed until he finally steps on the brakes.
Or, you know, here’s an idea: finish getting ahead of the person before cutting them off. It looks like he was ahead for a fraction of a second but as soon as he slowed down to make the turn he ended up ramming the side of the bus.
Sounds like the Punisher should be in jail.
