Man, there’s a guy that drives a sport bike every morning while I’m walking to the bus stop. I can hear him coming and going for a solid 5 minutes either way. He’s not even revving it excessively (I can tell he’s being careful, thankfully), it’s just stupidly loud. I’m really tired of motorcycles not being held to the

Man this topic is making my blood pressure rise just thinking about it. A few years ago when my daughter was 2 or so there were some teenagers that for whatever reason picked my neighborhood to terrorize. Once every few nights or so at 2 in the morning they’d come by with the stereo pumping, rev the shit out of their

Oh I like that. The hardtop looks good on those.

Well we found who’s writing those things.

As long as it’s my brand, I don’t bother. That said, 80% of the time there’s one gas station I use. The other 15% I’m headed in another direction and it’s one of two others. The rest of the time I just grab what’s handy when I decide I need it. Like others have said, the savings are usually minimal and not worth my

Totally agree. BofA is the worst. I was doing some after-hours work at some years back and part of the check we needed to do upon arrival and before leaving was making sure the ATMs were online. Easy to do, just check your balance. Turns out they charge you $3 for the honor. At a small branch with only 5 ATMs, that

I didn’t visit the rest of the country, so I could see that being the case.

That is weird. I was a teenager at the time, though, so who knows.

Also good answers.

Italy’s where it’s at. Great food, great sights, great people, super laid back.

I wasn’t so tickled with the people in Paris, but then people in overcrowded cities are rarely anything other than assholes. The food though....oh the food.

Based on what I’ve seen here and on JRITS, I’m steering well clear of VAG and BMW. Mercedes and Volvo still have their problems, but are fairly reliable overall.

Well, European cars anyway. It’s not for the faint of heart or wallet, but driving them is a different experience. If the experience doesn’t sell you, don’t bother.

It’s actually funny you say that. I went through two INA timing belt kits on my Volvo and both made a terrifying creak at idle and leaked copious amounts of grease. Spent way too long troubleshooting and redoing that job before finally buying an OEM kit. Once I put that in, the problem was immediately resolved. The

I still use that excuse at work!

I know that alternators become harder to rotate as electrical demand goes up; I’m guessing the more juice they pump out, the harder they are to turn. Harder to turn means you need more leverage. Enter the large blades.

Can we get an article with good/successful movie tie-ins? I know plenty of car companies have paid to have their cars featured in movies (F&F and Chrysler comes to mind, ugh), but I can’t think of any movie-edition cars actually being sold that I’ve heard of or seen.

I had a car sitting in a driveway for a couple of months while I rebuilt the engine and ended up getting kitty paw prints all over it. This wouldn’t have been a problem but they were accompanied with scratch marks. Needless to say I wasn’t pleased about that so I bought a car cover. This turned out to be a bad move as

Wow, wouldn’t have expected that. I’ll add that to the list, along with Speed Racer.

I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy this movie.
