I’m gonna go with the entire Mercury brand. When it was finally shut down, they only made cynically rebadged Fords that weren’t even allowed to be luxurious because that would get too close to Lincoln’s territory.

Ford axed the Windstar so when my parents’ ‘03 wore out, they replaced it with an Edge. It got SIGNIFICANTLY harder to cart my grandparents around to doctor’s appointments and other outings. Getting into the minivan was so easy but the Edge was very difficult to access.

I think he’s more of a sea anemone. Capable of receiving and reacting to outside stimulus, but not capable of any real executive functionality that would allow him to decide what sort of response to give to a particular stimulus.
