Comparing the Veloster to the SC2 is an insult to the SC2, and I say that as a fan of both.

About half of this list is decidedly not boring. What is wrong with people?

Where did I say a goddamned thing positive about Tesla? What’s that? You can’t find it? Then shut the hell up.

Cheap C3s and cheap 1st-gen six-cylinder Mustang coupes are plentiful on FB marketplace near me. If only straight square-body GM trucks were cheap again.

Maybe Rivian has turned it around since 2022, but I interviewed for a job with them then and walked away because they genuinely seemed to have no idea what they were doing. I was, frankly, completely amazed when they actually managed to get product out the door.

The older Equinox (and it’s platform mates) were awful from a reliability standpoint, but the newer Equinoxes aren’t actually bad (based on the several months I worked for a GM dealership last year). Same surprisingly holds true for the Traverse and it’s siblings. I’m actually not that surprised to see the Equinox on

OH HELL NO!

Toyota Camry.

First generation Souls are ugly on the outside, AMAZING on the inside, and drive incredibly well. It’s actually one of my favorite cars.

Going all-in on CVTs and continuing to use them even after they started failing at appalling rates certainly helped. Ford was smart enough to stop that. Hell, even Chrysler stopped using them. Toyota, Subaru, and Honda developed CVTs that worked. If Nissan fails, it will be because they deserve to. As GM and Chrysler

By the way, those are NOT factory wheels on that car, those are replica IROC-Z wheels in a larger-than-OE size.

It’s probably nostalgia (I had a pair of ‘84 Camaros in high school, one was a 2.8 daily driver, the other a 305-powered project car I ended up selling instead of finishing), but I’d be a buyer if I had the cash.

Almost everything Chrysler has discontinued in the last 20 years. Sebring? Thank God. 200? Thank God! Nitro, Liberty, Journey? GLORY HALLELUJAH! Avenger and Caliber? PRAISE THE LORD! Patriot? AMEN! The FWD Cherokee? PRAISE HIM!

No idea, but the wet belt driving the oil pump on the newest version of the Coyote is a deal-breaker for me, so... after swearing I’d never buy a brand new GM product after 2008-2009... they’re my only remaining choice for a new V8 truck in the future.

Marketing killed the minivan, which is sad, really, because they’re superior to compact and mid-size SUVs in every single way.

If it wanted my attention, it shoulda had a V8. If I wanted a turbo V6, I’d buy an Ecoboost F150.

It looks great, but with a BMW powertrain? I’m out. I worked on BMWs every day for years at a BMW dealership, I don’t want one in my driveway. Put a Toyota, Ford, or GM V8 in it and we’ll talk.

This is just him wanting to retaliate against the UAW for endorsing his opponent combined with fearmongering among the uneducated.

No, GM chose that.

GM should just bring back Saturn as what they were before they were forced to sell re-badged crap. My 1994 Saturn SL-1 was the most reliable American car I’ve ever owned (100,000 miles and ZERO mechanical failures). Why was it so reliable? Better everything except the radio (which was the same as other GM products).
