Comparing the Veloster to the SC2 is an insult to the SC2, and I say that as a fan of both.

First generation Souls are ugly on the outside, AMAZING on the inside, and drive incredibly well. It’s actually one of my favorite cars.

Going all-in on CVTs and continuing to use them even after they started failing at appalling rates certainly helped. Ford was smart enough to stop that. Hell, even Chrysler stopped using them. No idea, but the wet belt driving the oil pump on the newest version of the Coyote is a deal-breaker for me, so... after swearing I’d never buy a brand new GM product after 2008-2009... they’re my only remaining choice for a new V8 truck in the future.

GM should just bring back Saturn as what they were before they were forced to sell re-badged crap. My 1994 Saturn SL-1 was the most reliable American car I’ve ever owned (100,000 miles and ZERO mechanical failures). Why was it so reliable? Better everything except the radio (which was the same as other GM products).
