To be fair, Facebook did botch more than one roll out with under-tested features — remember their dual column layout?

It's anything but a potential weakness. They've been falling short of their financial forecasts for a while now, they laid off a few hundred jobs last fall, their proportion of unused accounts has gone up… the weakness is already here.

For the first question: it made them unique, but isn't continuing to drive engagement.

You mean like if there's live-tweeting for an event? I doubt that they'll get rid of the option to toggle Live and Best if you look up a particular trending hashtag.

What they're doing right now isn't working for them, so something does need to change. Other networks are continuing to grow while they stagnate.

There's a little activity log in the right column that shows all the minutia that happens. You can roll over it and see the content pop out.

I manage social media for my company, and these people are all whiners. It's impossible to find relevant content in the noise if you follow a lot of accounts.

Once at a Korean restaurant, I overhead someone say to the server — after the food they ordered arrived — "By the way, I'm allergic to shellfish and chilis; is this okay for me to eat?"

That shouldn't bother you — it should bother you that he ordered a Cajun dish asking to hold the pepper as though pepper is something that gets added at the end and not mixed in with the spice blend that the restaurant already surely has prepped well in advance of him ordering. The whole premise makes no sense!

Anyone who's allergic to pepper but orders Cajun food deserves what they get.

What do you think this is? Full House?

Why can't they better support the women in their films?

But like Ricky said, it's not even that cool or distinct-looking of a prop.

Is there a reason why this prop in particular is so special? Or is this just like Marge and potatoes? He just thinks it's neat?
