I agree, Ashi definitely lived, just from a story standpoint she's received too much character development to just drop her here (pun not entirely intended).

I assume they'll have Genndy's new shows for Adult Swim fill the Jack void, but they do have an opening for more with how they're numbering the season 5 episodes in the 90s.

The wolf reappearing and saving Jack caught me off guard in a good way. I was okay with it just being metaphorical to Jack's situation last week. The writing in this is just at another level.

Stands up and starts slow clap "I…hated…THAT SO MUCH"

God I missed Stella so much. I needed this.

Space Dandy was amazing.

Also Tartakovsky is always on point with sound design but it's at another level with these episodes already. I can't wait to listen to this episode with headphones to hear all the little sound cues.

I think he did in the Bounty Hunters episode but Genndy says he didn't believe any of the humans died by Jack's hands.

He did say on the stream before the premiere he's gonna make more shows for Adult Swim since S5 was such a good experience for him.

Just holy shit all the way through. Absolutely incredible.

Yeah hearing that little sound again hit my nostalgia center in the best way.

Samurai Jack!!! Incredible stuff. Also had the great news in the Q&A beforehand that Genndy is doing more cartoons for Adult Swim after this. And I've been playing lots of Breath of the Wild still. It's amazing but of course I still have my nitpicks that I have for everything I really enjoy.

Those lines were incredible. I feel like I'm gonna need to rewatch this about eight times just to catch all the lines.

I'm watching now and am so happy. This is such a great adaptation, it's nailing everything I wanted out of the series and more.

Persona 5 has been my #1 most wanted for years. Can't wait for Zelda either. This first half having Gravity Rush 2, ME Andromeda, and Horizon should hopefully make up for all the inevitable delays later this year.

"Honey, your flat ass is perched right on my ut."

Franco was a running joke in my poetry class this semester, to the point we even made a "Franconian sonnet" about him having an egotistical adventure on a beach in group work. I have it saved somewhere…

I remember the Nathan Fielder interview with them more than anything about the actual movie.

Every scene with Holt has been gold this season.

That cold open. Incredible.
