I did none of that. I wanted a brand new 2001 Suzuki GSX-R 750, but my dad would not put his name on the insurance, and I could not swing it alone. So, I bought a brand new Honda Shadow ACE 750 - insurance was super cheap.

Agreed 100%. I have an Abarth for this very reason. I do all sorts of bad things with that car, make it backfire all the time, and yet, I am rarely moving past a point of getting more than a 1-2 point ticket.

If the 124 depreciates anywhere near an Abarth 500, I’ll probably replace my Abarth Convertible. First, I’ll have to test drive one to see if it puts a huge grin on my face though. I get to drive my Fiona in 15 min or so, with the roof down, can’t wait :D
