I get all of it, other than crappy weather?

Can they build it in the USA? Where do they make the Renegade? They’d need to in order to avoid the chicken tax. Other than that, brand it RAM, bring it here, and make it affordable - it should sell. All of the new small and large cargo vans from Europe seem to be doing well.

Quite possible that is the case. I am not denying that there are people that need help, but then there are many that abuse the system. Welfare is there to help you get back on your feet - not to carry you through life. I posted a video earlier of a girl that is in early 20’s I’d say - never worked a day in her life,

My help as a refugee:

Family is huge, I do have to admit that. I do have to ad that I’ve done well after I moved out as well. You had some really bad circumstances - good for you for making it out of them and living on your own!

Worked is a past tense, and I wasn’t around then. I know there are caps, and I also know there is much abuse of those caps

I seriously doubt that the math works that way. When I was on unemployment, making a certain amount of money would start to cut into it, but making less than $X was just an add-on to the unemployment check.

I grew up eating bean soup for lunch every Monday and Friday. If cooking one of those in a slow cooker/pressure cooker or normal pot is not cheaper and better per serving than even the cheapest processed food, I’d be very surprised.

How about a $25 slow cooker - heck even a $5 slow cooker from a garage sale? Then, load it up with beans and a few chunks of meat, or make a beef and potato stew, or ... you get it, one of about million recipes that are home cooked, healthy as you want them, very inexpensive to prepare, ready when you come home? I am

How do you think I fail to see that? What I am saying is that a lot of stuff is doable in this country - even if you are a refugee with limited language knowledge. If you fail to see that, than I can’t help you.

Well, you used an analogy of procuring a plane and shortening its wings to explain that welfare only works in select circumstances. Not super clear to me, sorry if I am missing the point.

Hm, I am not sure I follow. I agree with the government being very non-efficient. What part of public service does not work as intended - well, other than blatant abuse of the well-fare, which reduces $$ needed for the real needy families?

I am aware where that money goes, and that doesn’t make me any happier either. Military spending is out of control, but that is another topic.

Now playing

True - the whole “leave the moment you hit 18” is probably ruining this country by creating scores of underemployed, no savings, shitty living conditions kids. I lived with my parents when we moved here, and I moved out when I got married and bought my own house.

What specifically are you saying here? What exactly are republicans doing, and how are majority of Americans dealing with it?

That can be a factor for sure. I ended up in Denver, CO and I am sure there are more opportunities here than in BFE, Michigan. I can understand that as a factor as well then.

What are you basing this on? This country is divided half and half with democrats and republicans, in every election. There are plenty of poor people in red and in blue states.

Aww, I am still in gray on LH? Eric, can you please ungray me?

Being poor is a vicious cycle. I was a refugee for years - my parents sent me with my grandma to another country to avoid a war, and they sent us with almost no money thinking it’ll be over in a week or two. I ended up separated from them for 18 months, with very little money, and life was a struggle. We ate canned

Last letter is pretty much the same as SH in English, so not very challenging. Russian is fun when it comes to last 6 letters in the alphabet
