Well, yeah, that, too. I’ll gladly admit I was a damn idiot in my 20s and 30s but, good lord, it gets tiresome after a while, wading through some of this stuff.

I’m almost 70 and sometimes (when I make unattractive noises getting out of the car) I feel old, but aside from when I read some particularly galling comments on Jez, I wouldn’t describe myself as old. I think 80 is old.

Aside from all the dwarves (and getting some puppehs in there), that sounds like a terrific weekend. Up here just a little north of South Park, we’ve got lots of blue skies, TWO new sets of twins in our front yard deer herd and a very big dog who’s afraid of them. Thank you; I really don’t understand why people are being so obtuse, I guess is the word, about what she said. They’re taking offense that “She said raising a family isn’t important” and she didn’t come close to saying anything like that. Nowhere do I see a hint at “Women who raise a family are doing nothing.”
