Morrowind.
Spent just under half an hour doing the full character creation process, got off the ship, walked into a shop, tried to talk to the shopkeeper.
He didn’t respond.

I came here for the Red October references and was not disappointed.
I love that movie so much.
The Hymn to Red October playing in the background is just top tier immersion.
I bought the game in early access for my daughter to play, and only recently discovered the rather excellent soundtrack.
A soundtrack that is now being taken out of my music rotation, which makes me sad.
The description has convinced me that I need to watch this ASAP.
It sounds like everything I want from a fun romcom, minus the useless fanservice and crap.
I have a PDP fight pad for the 360 that uses a nice clicky stick-pad like the old SNK pads.
The stick is switchable between functioning as the left thumstick or dpad, fantastic for emulating or 2D games.
This is much more like the NES Classic than the other “clone” consoles.
It’s an ARM-based computer (android, gnu/linux, win10 IoT, whatever) running what is likely an in-house FireCore-based emulator.
The “fix” in this case is *entirely* a software update.
Glad to see that they’re addressing it and not just ignoring the…
Huh, one of those replies was supposed to go on another comment. Thanks, Kinja.
Surprisingly decent. Not amazing but more than enough for casual listening or gaming. Probably excellent for gaming, with the slightly boosted bass response.
The material is TPE, not silicone.
I have a set myself.
Those are the exact same earphones. Handy that they’re on Amazon now.
These have been available via Taobao for some time, but nearly inaccessible outside of China.
My brother found these on the Wish marketplace app, IIRC they were priced about the same. It’s the only way we’ve found to order these in the US so far.
Surprisingly good! I *finally* managed to snag a few pairs for myself and family - they isolate fairly well, are a *tad* bass-heavy but have decent upper frequency range.
Not audiophile-class, but I have definitely bought worse earbuds.
They also stay fairly well, and don’t drop off too easily. I could see wearing them…
Right, because those would be *not* shit, and they only get shit.
Personally, I also prefer Starfox 2 to the first game. The short missions worked well with my limited attention span, but the semi-turn-based strategic overgame allowed me to spread a campaign over time.
I was thrilled to see this gameplay concept fleshed out a bit in Starfox Command, which I considered to essentially…
Headcanon accepted.
Hah, they’re using the “NES Netflix app” from a couple of years back, that’s just brilliant advertising there.
meta-reference recursion?
As an anime fan who watched Shirobako (from whence the headline image comes) and generally has some experience in the arts industry, this does not surprise me in the least.
They’re often incredibly brutal, with strict deadlines and work requirements that’d make most 8-to-5ers recoil in horror - combined with being…
The audiobook is just so *perfect*.
Zombies were done for me, after the audiobook. Nothing can top WWZ.
My first thought, exactly.
