I thought immediately that this was a Shenmue 3 screenshot.

Saw the headline image and thought “oh, movie recommendations for people who liked Paprika, must be good!”
Turns out I’ve already seen all of these, minus Your Name. Will have to give that one a go.
Also, Paprika is seriously one of my favorite films. I watched it every night for a week straight after discovering it.
OH. I misunderstood.
That... I don’t know. It’s more likely that it’s a soldered-on solution in that case than if it were non-SSD.
The one here is, at the very least, msata or m.2 interface, if not a custom USB3.0 controller. It’s far too small for a typical 2.5" SATA SSD.

There’s no trouble in putting an SSD into an external enclosure.
People do it all the time for fast external storage for laptops and Xbones.

I’m actually kinda stoked to see Windjammers in that image. One of my favorite arcade sports games ever.
Nidhogg is also an interesting pick. As a fencing student, it’s fun to see how strategies of the sport apply in-game, especially with the rather simple control scheme.
I really, REALLY wish the original (second model, preferably) AK Rocker gaming chair would come back, or one of these gaming chair companies would put a rocker bottom on one that just sat on the ground.
My wife and I have a pair, and they’re old and busted, but we can’t find anything better. The crap curved ones with…
I was hoping to see Astroworld/Six Flags over Houston coasters, was disappointed.
I first played this on the Gamecube, and was instantly hooked. The multiplayer mode made it even better, and I was incredibly disappointed that DA 2 never made it to the Cube.
Eventually I got a PS2 though, and my wife and I have since run through both Dark Alliance games, as well as Champions of Norrath. We <3…
Classic track.
Instant click and listen here when I saw the post.
I’d like to see MS address the “free gift” to celebrate the anniversary of Backward Compatibility for Xbox One, that was only available to people with male avatars.
It was a free t-shirt for your XBL avatar, and “purchasing” the shirt also added Lost Odyssey to your game library.
It was only available for male avatars,…
Same. Definitely adding Anime Feminist as a source for good show info. This interview was fantastic.
This is the kind of anti-gravity racer I want to see brought back.
Unfortunately, no Battletech Centers for a thousand miles or so.
Either a 32X or a 2D Saturn Sonic game, if they hadn’t been so insistent on bringing Sonic into the third dimension.
I’d agree with that assessment.
I’d agree with that assessment.
They say Pong to Playstation, and looking at the current emulator list on the Kickstarter (although they say “and many more!”) every one of those is totally doable on a Pi 3. Heck, I have all but the N64 from that list set up on my own. (32X was the killer on the Pi2, completely unplayable, now perfect on Pi3).
Granted,…
I laughed far harder than I should have.
Excellent presentation, sir.
...I really should finish Steins;Gate.
If you’ve got the headset attached to the Core, that’s fine, and should work great since you can hook up the headset directly to the card in that case.
Quick note, since you mentioned VR: Don’t.
Not unless your laptop has ONLY a discrete video card. The Optimus setups basically reduce usability to SteamVR-style “extended desktop” mode only. In all these laptops with the hybrid intel+nvidia/amd GPU setups, the Intel GPU handles all actual display output, with the…
Dystopian sci-fi where everyone plays a VR MMO.
IIRC, it’s filmed entirely with Polish actors, and all dialogue is in Polish, with subtitles.
The music was composed by Kenji Kawai, who was also responsible for the score to Ghost in the Shell. It’s worth seeing just for the music, but the movie itself is fantastic.
The…
The issue then becomes whether you can play new games acceptably on the old hardware.
I can keep a PC for years playing games, I just may not be able to play games at high graphics settings 6 years from now on this hardware. Will new games require the Xbone+ or can I run them scaled back slightly on the xbone I got for…
