Damn I love ramchargers. My grandpa had one that he bought from someone who wheeled it. Had a big-ass roll bar behind the front seats and a reasonable lift, but somehow the body was in great shape. I miss that truck... they sold it for WAY too much money back in 2009 or so.

Oh god, this. My boss had a 2014 M56 and it was ATROCIOUS. Nothing felt bolted down, the wind noise was hilarious, the transmission was terrible, the seats were mediocre. It was like a luxury car built to have an impressive spec sheet and that’s it.

1st gen R8 V10 with the gated shifter. IMO these get less attractive with every update and the original still looks like an exotic spaceship. Well within your budget, too.

Honestly not a huge fan of his final product. The light streaks are super distracting (especially the one on the windshield) and the splotchy “puddles” of light on the ground are just kind of odd and most would consider them a no-no.

100% agree. My first car was a ‘98 sedan and I drove it back to back with a ‘03 sedan and it was night and day. Never been super on board with the RSX either... 

Counterpoint: ‘96-’00 was the best generation of Civic because they were the last to be truly light flickable cars. In ‘01 they got slightly fatter, slightly safer, and lost the great suspension and low nose for macpherson struts and pedestrian safety.
