I mean an Integra sold on there with glued-in hacked up floor panels so anything is possible.

DIY fiberglass replacements?

pour one out for SE-Rs and NX2000s

I’m unreasonably horny for that Cressy.

It’s a period restoration. That is; restored to how it would have been when those were new cars. All of those mods are period-correct for the timeframe the car was new in.

The struts on my Lexus Sportcross got a bit weak. Instead of replacing them with milquetoast Lexus struts I discovered that the struts from a 90s Volvo would not only allow the hatch to open a little further, they’re strong enough that even in cold weather I just have to “help” the heavy-ass hatch up half way and it

I’m far from a Tesla lover, but I’ll play devil’s advocate here: I, and I’m sure most of America, could not give less of a shit if there’s 3mm larger gap on one side of the car vs the other. Never going to see them both at the same time, doesn’t matter. What DOES matter, and what Tesla did pretty well (on that

This is the absolute pinnacle of “awful taste but great execution”

The 2nd revision keyboard feels quite a bit different to type on. Not “worse” just different. TBH I didn’t find the first revision all that objectionable I’m just freakin’ scared of the thing getting broken and having to go through the massive repair process.

The 2015 Macbook Pro was the best goddamn computer Apple ever has produced. The newer ones just took a massive dump with weird circuit layouts that are highly prone to failure, fewer failsafes against component failures, those atrocious first-run keyboards that require replacing 50% of the computer when they fail,

Johnson County plates? Damn, I need to come help you work on this thing sometime!

complicated modern powered convertible tops

Other than the wheels I love it.

Nice paint. Curb appeal. Something I can be proud of and wash and wax and take to C&C. Fun to drive. Good sound system. Reasonable fuel economy. Not a convertible.

A formula 1 manual has exactly 0 in common with a consumer transmission. I’m 100% sure a manual will not be available in the “enthusiast trim” (best engine with AWD) because Mazda doesn’t have something currently in their stable that could handle that sort of abuse and the R&D is spectacular with little to no ROI.

I’m actually not sure. Will the 2.5l be NA?

The reveal itself mentioned AWD in the US.

The top trim corolla hatch is still pretty milquetoast. Sounds like the top trim engine in the Mazda is gonna be a firecracker and I doubt they have a manual that can handle it and I would put money that they aren’t going to spend the money to R&D an all new trans for a combination they’ll sell five of.

Calling it now. Manual only available on the FWD base N/A 1.5l engine. That might be okay, though, if you can get the hot engine with AWD and the autobox isn’t a complete crapfest. A DSG would be ideal, methinks.
