100% can see that rear glass piece carried through to the Rendezvous.
I’m stupid jealous of how crisp those are at a high ISO. I definitely sympathize with not wanting to use a flash and know how godawful convention halls are for lighting. Stupid human eye, being all low-light sensitive and stuff.
Your subtitle in the “about the author” made me chuckle because I was just about to comment and berate you for crushing the blacks so much in all these pictures. I guess it’s personal style but I kind of hate squinting at a picture trying to see more detail where there’s just a void of black. Then again my editing…
Neutral: They stopped building the one Harley I’d really consider, the V-Rod. The Sportster Roadster is kind of appealing except for the name “Harley-Davidson Sportster Roadster” is the most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard of and the competition beats it in every metric.
I still think that gen Lacrosse is a handsome car. Would look excellent as a large coupe on the Camaro platform.
Was never a fan of these. No t-top/targa/fixed roof option and styling like a Chinese knockoff Boxster. Meh.
Yup. My first car was a ‘98 base model 5 speed that I de-riced. Loved that thing to death until it was totaled. IMO the last truly great “fun and light” generation of Civic.
I was always super “meh” on these. Looks like a sad knockoff wanna-be Boxster and the drivetrain really isn’t that great stock.
Solid progress! Glad to see it. Shiny new parts on rusty old garbage is always fun times.
Meh. I prefer the Euro styling of the Fiata over the Japanese styling of the ND. The big draw for me of the NA and NB were the euro styling with Japanese reliability owing to my fetish of everything RWD and european. The NC makes me sad because it throws all that away for JDMtite nonsense.
Indeed.
It’s the best car, but the worst Miata.
Except they used the base model variant of the NB (except who knows because they say it’s a 99 and it clearly isn’t), the lamest 1.6 NA, one of the better NCs (3rd facelift PRHT i believe) and an ND.
NCs aren’t valid Miatas.
Run a dirty ice truck in there for a few weeks and see how covered in soot and grime everything becomes. Or go to smog-filled China and lick a glass window. That being said, emissions are definitely important to a point but I think we’re hitting a point of diminishing returns wherein the pollution created making…
