Holy wow that’s hideous. It looks like Generic Concept Vehicle #40 was drug out with a CX9 front end slapped on it after being turned up to eleven, then an ugly render was shat out of Autodesk Inventor.

I will be orders of magnitude less upset if that graphics package becomes a thing I can order.
Pretty sure he’s talking about the anime.
mmmm, core memory mat! Always wanted to toy around with getting some cores and making some of it.
A majority of them are made on similar platforms. The Regal and Century are literally the same car. The LeSabre and Park Avenue are very slight variations of the H platform (LeSabres are easier to work on due to differences in the firewall).
Yay! A fellow Buick person! There are literally dozens of us!
It’s expensive for a reason. Did you see the amount of effort and art that went into creating this? I’m not saying there aren’t likely ridiculous profit margins but as these are art as much as they are wristpiece, and you’ve seen the prices for art, I am sure. I personally would overpay for a precision engineering…
Yeah, fuck enthusiasts of things I don’t understand. Fuck people that appreciate something like this for what it is; intricate, amazing mechanical art that, as a nice bonus, happens to have some marginal useful purpose.
For real. I have three cars. One is a 2002 Miata with an aftermarket axleback on it. The sound level is slightly more than a stock NA Miata but much deeper. I got it because the stock exhaust is whisper-quiet and super disappointing for a ‘sports car’.
That cost includes gas and lost revenue when the car is in the shop for service. Since the Tesla utilizes the free (for now) Supercharger network and required almost no servicing, those costs hardly exist for it.
Between this and the demonstration of acceleration of that hydrogen fuel cell truck... why the hell aren’t trucks diesel-electric like locomotives? You have three axles you could be sticking electric motors on with a diesel generator and MASSIVELY improve acceleration and have regen braking as well. It seems like a…
God damn it.

Those wheels certainly are a thing that exists.
Shit, I meant bilsteins. Dammit.
My mom has a base auto Sky, I’ve autocrossed it and driven it around on MANY occasions and also worked on it. I’ve also driven a variety of manual Skys, so I can get rid of what i know to be the downsides of the auto (horrid torque abuse management, lethargic shifts, etc.)
My mom has an ‘08 Saturn Sky. I have an ‘02 Miata. The Miata is superior in almost every regard except for straight-line acceleration perhaps.
Fake news. The NC dropped the Miata monkier and is known as the MX-5.
