That’s amazing. Black and gold is fantastic. I want all ten please.
It’s almost like every generation has its own brand of assholes.
I used to hate Miatas. I still hate convertibles, yet I have a Miata. Like it or not, for those of us that can’t afford a 944 (which I’d rather have) or a Corvette (which I’d rather have) or a BMW M-car (which I’d... actually no) the Miata is the cheapest way imaginable to get into a RWD car designed and built from…
Hook these motors up to powerglide transmissions so they can keep pulling at higher speeds. Destroy every challenger.
How on earth do the rubber tires work with the tracks? And why did they choose that over steel wheels?
I still don’t get the hype with that movie. My girlfriend made me see it and it was just cringe-inducing low-brow humor. There were a few quotable moments but other than that it was just a bunch of man-children running around acting like idiots.
NP all day. Easily worth twice that in parts, and the work looks very well done. My one concern with this as a car is that the Getrag transmissions weren’t known for loads of power handling. I have no doubt in my mind that 3800 is good for the quoted power, or even far more (friends and I have gotten 800hp out of…
Oh, hey. A TRS-80 Model 100. I have two of those kicking around.
Seriously. I work at a Chevy dealership and we have legitimately no provision or ability to test a car “legally” other than going to the interstate highway adjacent to us and giving it some beans up the onramp. Luckily Kansas has 75mph speed limits so it’s not terribly hard to get “up there” without running too afoul…
Why the hell do people use the VR mode of Pokemon Go? It’s a neat gimmick for twelve seconds but just makes it even more annoying to catch the little bastards.
It’s supposed to do that. Make sure the rear glass is clean and free of water while you’re reversing.
That’s awesome
That’s not wonderful looking, which is a pity because some design aspects have potential, like the swoop just fore of the rear wheel well.
Big vans are some of the best vehicles for “slow car fast”. A diesel Chevrolet Express 2500 makes you feel like Ayryon Senna at 15mph. So many gears. So much noise. So much MASS. Great fun.
I didn’t mean a van is a necessity, but that the van in its form of a twinkie on wheels is the best solution and there’s no real way to “modernize” it without losing part of its utility. You posted what basically looks like a cab-forward G-wagen and an Oscar-Meyer Weinermobile on steroids. The G-wagen thing is a cool…
How are they not cool? The Safari is a cheap overlander, the VW is subjectively cool, the Odyssey is cool because it’s a pedestrian vehicle turned into a race car which is always nifty, and the Ford Sportsmobile... how do you not think a full-sized 4x4 overlander with a pop-up roof isn’t cool? That’s like the ultimate…
That statement doesn’t even make sense. A van is the most efficient way to do van things. There is no alternative in many situations, and the “40+year old” comment is meaningless considering modern vans are just that; modern sheet metal on current platforms.
This is like saying “it’s the 21st century; we can do better…
