Right? How do we know that he’s not driving it like a giant raging asshole and other people are just giving him a taste of his own medicine? A gold wrapped Cybertruck with a QR code plastered on the back is very recognizable.

I’d love to share this story with some of my European relatives, but that part of the family tree mysteriously disappears around 1939.
This response deserves a slow-clap ovation, well done.
people suck if they thinking harassing a person over their purchase is even remotely close to acceptable.
The point remains basically the same. He’s at best, a self-aggrandizing asshole. He wanted attention, and now he’s mad that the monkey’s paw curled its finger. You don’t wrap your attention golf cart in gold plating if you don’t want it to make a statement. He just didn’t get the reaction he hoped for. Boo hoo.
He made it gold, dude wants to crow over the plebs. He just didn’t count on there being so many of them.
Saying violence is never a good idea ignores that in a justified position, violence is the last resort. It should not be approached glibly, but to deny its power is saying the status quo cares for people and justice, and we know that isn’t the truth. But I digress.
I dunno man, at this point getting the official Tesla attention machine is a pretty tacit endorsement of Musk and his attitudes. He wrapped it in gold. He clearly wants the attention, but he thought it was going to be of the positive ilk. Turns out he was wrong.
Ahhhh yes, buying one of the ugliest and most obnoxious cars, wrapping it in the most obnoxious color possible, then putting a FAT QR code on the back doesn’t make him a huge attention seeker. He’s just upset about the type of attention he’s getting lol suck it up buttercup. Actions and decisions have consequences.…
Guy wanted a truck that would get him attention. He got it. More at 11.
If you bought a Cybertruck, you bought it with the full understanding of what Elon is. It wasn’t because it was the only truck you could afford or the only electric truck available, you did it as a lifestyle statement. Fair for people to respond in kind. Surprised more aren’t being vandalized.
There is always the possibility, and I know this may be a radical suggestion but hear me out, maybe this guy is just an overall douchebag and the hostility has nothing to do with the truck.
Uh...yikes. You send checks?
You think that’s bad? Just wait until the NADA and Musk convince the Oompa-Loompa in charge that factory warranties are bad for consumers, but if they do want a warranty, they MUST buy it from a dealer.
I mean, he let on to his whole mindset during COVID when he claimed that the reason the US had so many cases is because we do too much testing.
Vehicles are way too connected. The constant marketing and reminders to sell you yet another product. This is harassment.
They’ll just stop keeping track of crashes. They just shuttered the part of the Education Dept. which keeps track of test scores, so I think the idea is “if we stop telling people there’s a problem then they’ll think we’re doing a great job!”
I am both happy and sad. I’ve always been a car guy, so I love V8's, but I’m also sad that the EV transition is stalling. I genuinely don’t know how to feel about this.
And fires any deemed “woke” ATC employees, replaced by Tesla-build FSFlying, and then fires the non-woke ones, then fires the maintenance crews responsible for runway and airport upkeep, and then fires airport managers....
