I discovered that if I scroll only as far as absolutely necessary, it doesn’t happen. Still extremely annoying, but at least I can read articles and comments.

I posted about this in a couple of other places as well. I finally figured out the bit about not scrolling any farther than absolutely necessary. Extremely annoying.

Yep. I think it’s reasonable to recognize “degree of miss.” Technically, every two moving objects that don’t collide could be said to have “missed” each other. Those that come very close, but don’t collide, have still had a miss - but it was a near thing.
