13 months in jail seems like way too little.

Lol, so basically all the interspecies predators with a pathological deficit of empathy and compassion—or put another way, people too dangerous to society to just be out and walking around.

I’m for prison abolition except for white collar crime. Basically, just serial killers and white collar criminals in jail together.

John Oliver always on point. so much so I had to buy them stamps his show put out last year!

And credit where it’s due - it’s not just him, but his whole team. The writers and researchers for that show are top notch. It’s clear they’ve hired a talented, diverse group that can play to many strengths.

And I view people who say they don’t like him as a red flag.

Okay. True enough. And it’s not really my problem, or this guy’s, or Jeopardy’s, that you are making the choice to be offended by the mere sight of three fingers.

I’ve experienced more of these events in the last five years than in the twenty before it. It’s tiring being at the dawn of a new age.

This is at least how you make a clear statement denouncing something, none of these dog whistle, interpret it whichever way you want statements

That might be a bit much to hope for. I mean, from humanity in general, even. We suck at that whole self-awareness thing. It’s hard to admit ignorance when, by definition, you have to be ignorant of it in the first place.

Except he didn’t do anything wrong. But he’s still apologizing. If anything, all the people who complained owe him an apology for basically calling him a racist. This is absurd.
