I loved the John Osbourne episodes of Steptoe and Son.

Great news. I was in the mood to hate-watch "Sports Night."

It was an awesome show that did not condescend to its young audience - hip and funny. And Rita was great on it.

Polite applause for the "death of James Evans" reference.

As long is the new Schneider asks the new Ann Romano if she needs her pipes cleaned every episode, I'm in.

The only time I liked "Cat's in the Cradle" is when Chris sang it to his dad on "Get a Life!"

I can still sing the theme song - "He's the president in resident/He's kind of in charge." This show was a thing of beauty. The episode where Bush's frat brothers visit and he tries to impress them by executing - brutal. And the ep where Bush gets deposed by Cheney and has to move to a poor neighborhood was great. I

The one with Cassavetes and Blyth Danner is also a great ep and, I believe, early in the series. Any of the Patrick McGoohan episodes also good.

Falk was just such a great actor. Was part of the John Cassavetes/Gena Rowland set.

I don't understand the brouhaha about this, given that the only thing it had in common with the books was the name of the character. The charm of Nancy Drew was that she was just a curious, brave young woman, not a cop with a gun.

Coughing up blood, and phlegm and sputum…

That's your purse? It's a nice purse.

Songwriting credits are notoriously shady. "Change a word, get a third."

Every time Mike said the phrase "baseball cards", dripping with contempt, I lol-ed.

Who plays Sheldrake? Bradley Cooper?

It will be interesting if Ryan Murphy can avoid his usual self-indulgences and keep this show from going completely off the rails halfway through. Given that this is based on a true story, he may be able to pull it off.

Slipped my mind…but I feel awful about it.

Ah, but who is Spencer Bledsoe's Tom Brady?

Right, and carry a bunch of bananas around everywhere she goes, referring to them as her "beh-behs."

Abi Maria is what would happen if Helena from Orphan Black somehow got cast on Survivor.
