The comments are pretty good, but need more snark. Most of them are just calling out his shitty reasoning on its face.

This comment deserves more stars, my friend.
Totally agree, but it sounds like the exchange team got involved and stopped delivery of related messages. It does sound like it hit the beats of every good reply-allpocalypse: “please remove me”, “stop replying all”, memes, instructive use of how to mute threads, additional trolling by people enjoying the ride. All…
Agree. Just to be clear, I agree that “people hate Will Ferrell”, not that “I agree and I hate Will Ferrell”. Because I don’t!
My wife would agree with you, but the hardest I’ve ever laughed at him was during his final moments on Last Man on Earth. More the situation than anything he did, but it was still effing hilarious.
There are tons of people that hate Will Ferrell - I’m with you here.
It’s also spelled “bologna”, not “balogna”, which is pretty awesome considering you were correcting Rover’s spelling in the first place.
See, I can’t even shake my head at that. It’s a hard show to watch and the tone can definitely be off-putting to many. So your opinion isn’t shocking, and I wouldn’t try to tell you you’re wrong, like if you told me you hated Breaking Bad or The Wire. I just never really found anyone in my various circles who liked…
Carrie Coon and Justin Theroux were amazing, but MVP of the show might be this right here.
Such a great show. I watched it by myself to catch S3 last year and by the time I was most of the way through S3, I realized my wife wanted in on it, so I watched it all over again with her. The whole series twice in a month - it’s that good.
It’s also one of those shows that I keep begging people to watch, but I feel…
I just want to find the gypsy that cursed Deadspin into having a once-a-month dunk-on-Simmons quota.
“Bad” was just a general term I used based off of reactions that I saw from when the game came out, and since then. I haven’t played it, as I don’t have the means to, so that’s all I have to go off of. There’s no one happier than I am to discover that “bad” is an overreaction to Arkham Knight.
My options are limited since I don’t own a PS4/X1, I’m not a PC gamer, and I don’t play enough games these days to invest in a next-gen console. I opted for a Switch (with zero regrets on that thus far). Maybe years from now there will be remaster on a system I own, and if so, I’m there, man.
That’s great news. If it had come out for 360 I would have gotten it and sunk a lot of time into it no matter what anyone says. The problem is, for reasons you’ll surely understand (being a new parent) I’m not making the leap to PS4/X1, so unless this gets ported to Switch, I probably won’t get to play it.
I’m happy to ignore them. My main issue is that I don’t own a console that supports the title, and barring a Switch port, likely never will. It’s a shame!
I keep hearing about how bad this game is but I still very much would like to play it. I’m glad you’re going back to it and giving it a fair look.
I feel like it’s gotta be a port. Or maybe a hybrid. The mechanics of Smash were different between Melee/Brawl and Brawl/Smash 4. I feel like this game adds some new players, new skins, and maybe new game elements, i.e. challenges, and keeps everything else the same - meaning the mechanics - from Smash 4. So even if…
Came for the Charles S. Dutton comment, left satisfied
The first three Arkham games are up there with Dead Space as my favorite game series of last-gen. But I never made the leap to X1/PS4, and never will, so I’m kind of bummed that I won’t get to play this one, even though reviews are mixed. I just wish they’d port it to Switch already, but I don’t see that happening.
Wait - is Duck Army not real?
