Nope, not at all - especially in the big cities. SA and Austin are pretty progressive, as is the border due to the Latinx population, Houston was one of the first big US cities to elect an openly gay mayor, Fort Worth is kind of an Austin lite, and Dallas has lots of pockets of progressivism outside of Highland Park.

Which is why it’s weird that people outside of Dallas apparently still don’t know who he is - the SMU scandal was a national story after all and had its own 30 for 30 - although judging from the comments maybe that is finally changing.

Before anyone embarrasses themselves with a comment like, “Wow, in Texas? This guy’s gonna get fired!” Uh, no, Dale is an institution in Dallas and we love him for being the cranky old progressive who drops truth bombs on uncomfortable suburbanites.

OK, fine, not a video game soundtrack, but I listen to a TON of Ratatat simply because it’s good “coding music”.

True, and it’s my parents’ console that’s broken, not the gamepad, so I assume I could sell the gamepad from the broken one to someone that might need a replacement, to subsidize some of the cost.

I actually went through this last month when I was trying to find a Wii U for my... parents.

I’m super interested but that price tag probably prices me out of buying it. As a new Switch owner, I wanted to jump on a couple of e-shop games for when I don’t feel like playing Mario Odyssey, so I’ve already spent like $60+ in the last month on just downloadables. I lost interest in Blossom Tales a little over

They read his rights to him, because the Mayweathers literally need everything read to them.

The NFL is already a watered-down product - there’s not enough talent to fill 32 squads.

I procrastinate because I keep telling myself that while I may have a couple of hours in the immediate to dedicate to the start of some new game, I won’t have free time in the days to come to keep me at it. Basically, if I don’t think I have a lot of free time to allocate to a new game, I won’t start it. This of

If Ant-Man was low-budget, it certainly didn’t come across that way. It’s a low-stakes heist film with a morally ambiguous hero and is a top-5 MCU movie for me just because it’s so very different from all the rest.

Zipline Guy, I served with Grape Lady. I knew Grape Lady. Grape Lady was a friend of mine. Zipline Guy, you’re no Grape Lady.

“thus will feel incomplete in my brain forever more”

Yep. I have to isolate myself in the bedroom and not let my wife in on what I’m doing. It’s such a great show, especially if you grew up watching JCVD films.

I enjoyed it (finished it last night), but I thought the whole thing manifested itself a bit too quickly. Each of the four areas took 30-45 minutes tops. There wasn’t a ton of exploration or figuring out what needed to happen, just an immediate “go there, do this”.

I’ll save my shade for someone who actually deserves it. This took balls.

Now playing

Imma let you finish, “Back at it Again at Krispy Kreme”, but Duck Army is the greatest Vine of all time.

If possible, check out the original. I really liked it! I got it as part of the Nindie Humble Bundle a few years back. I’ve played through it more than once. It is probably a 6-hour game, not a huge time sink. I only haven’t gotten the second because I don’t have a Switch.

This was my point from the beginning.
