That 1-2 combo of dumpster fakeout plus the non-reveal in the finale was the last straw for me, too. Stopped watching after that because it felt like the showrunners were intentionally jerking the audience around. I’ll check out threads like this that mention earlier seasons, but I don’t particularly care what

This was cute, but weightlessly forgettable. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything so inconsequential released by Ghibli.

In 30+ years of paying my own money to watch movies in a cinema, I can’t actually recall attending a threatrical run of a rom-com. This is the sort of film that if I see at all, will be on an airplane without any better options. The women I know who openly enjoy rom-coms do so via streaming, they’re not spending extra

Stick it on eBay for $5 million!

I dunno if I would call “Top Gun Maverick” a Jon Hamm film. Like yeah he’s in it, but did anyone go to see the movie because of him?  Maybe Jon Hamm’s family members?

Based on user reviews I have seen, “The Woman King” really, REALLY seems to have triggered a lot of white dudes. (Most of whom do not appear to have any intention of watching the movie, just leaving negative reviews wherever they can.) Critics seem to love it, however.

“Wasting Time” was an appropriate name for that inessential scene.

IMAJICA or WEAVEWORLD, both would be great limited-run series.  The cinematography falls right off the pages.

Even with all the departures I presume there are still 30+ cast members, including the requisite 10-15 of them won’t even appear in more than 5 minutes per week.

Frankly I didn’t even recognize that guy - not his photo, not his name. Probably not a terrible idea for him to jump to a less crowded ship.  Same could be said for a lot of cast members.  Honestly I hope they don’t try to add anyone new, just give more work to the huge troupe they already have.

Jason Momoa!

I thought the shortlist for a replacement was basically Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Seth Meyers.

This was my initial thought, too. What was the value of the IP before he agreed to make ROCKY BALBOA, or the first CREED, both of which raised its profile after a loooong pause? Probably not much. Would have been a great opportunity for Stallone to sweep in and use some of his massive wealth to buy the rights at a big

The thing is that Liotta is so iconic in GOODFELLAS that if you saw him in another Scorsese movie you’d probably just think of his role as Henry Hill. I know Scorsese reuses a lot of other actors, but something about that role stands out.

While Andrew Garfield was outstanding in support of the recent MCU Spider-Man film, it’s a bridge way too far to say that either of his Sony Spider-Man movies could ever possibly be one of the best films showing up on Netflix during any given month.
