The Leonard Cohen Estate should specifically jack up the price of “Hallelujah” for Snyder since everybody knows it’s a de facto requirement for his movies. Snyder will make WB pay whatever it costs.

I’m fully expecting Snyder to demand that WB pony up another $40 million to pay for the music he needs to “realize his vision.”

It’s shameful that directors with unique talent like Terry Gilliam have had to hustle for decades just to scrape up the value of Snyder’s catering budget for these reshoots. Meanwhile WB execs are showering Snyder with money and time to try to salvage a flop that came out years ago.

Yeah I shake my head whenever I see all the union workers pimping hard for Republicans who would love nothing more than to abolish their unions and cut their wages.

The estimates I read said that WB probably lost $50-100 million on JUSTICE LEAGUE. Also, how many smaller movies did WB greenlight expecting that Snyder would make more than enough to cancel out the risks?

Something I appreciate about Pine is that unlike a lot of actors of his stature (who could arguably hold out to be the lead in fairly large movies), at the height of his career he was self-confident enough to start taking on secondary roles in films headlined by women and people of color - think of WONDER WOMAN, A…

There was probably more that factored into the decision, which was a big one in her life. But it’s not a terrible idea for her to put this story out there as a message to other studio execs - “don’t ever fuck with me over details you think are minor, let alone major, or I will drop your ass.”
