I agree, maybe they were worried that audiences couldn’t keep track of more than a handful of characters - especially when the main character is shifting bodies with relative frequency.  I didn’t like the changes you mentioned, but maybe someone coming into this without knowing the books would struggle.  Maybe.

Considering how prominent Wakanda and that whole crew seems to be in IW1, I highly recommend you just make time to see BP before IW1.

If Netflix already has ties to this show, then it seems like a natural to officially integrate into its lineup. It can’t be that expensive, right? And even if so, if any crew could cut costs and still deliver something watchable, it’s this one, right?
