Thank you David for this quick and efficient write up! I’ve been annoyed for years upon years by people who demand that those words have special and uninterchangeable meanings in the here-n-now. In this modern era, they are definitely synonyms.
This whole psychosis about “exceptional service” needs to be killed with fire. And that means getting rid of the people who create and enforce these kinds of rating systems / policies within customer service organizations. Those people are utterly and irredeemably evil.

Even before reading this article I was entirely skeptical of the way DNA is used in legal proceedings. This article just reinforced what I already knew: it’s not the DNA itself that’s untrustworthy, but the way it is tested and results interpreted that is sketchy as all get out.
Is that a typo, or is that woman actually named “Michael” in the show? “Michael” as in the common name pronounced “my-kul”? Not “mi-shell” which would normally be spelled “Michelle”?
