Until the last ten or fifteen years, none of the American brands had notable quality, let alone stellar ratings. GM certainly was no paragon of virtue (hello ignition switch). Ford was a laughing stock 15 years ago.

Terrell, when you posted your “here I am” message the other day, you sounded like an intelligent and knowledgeable fellow who was in possession of critical intellectual faculties with the ability to discuss important matters in a thoughtful and analytical manner.
Every car that stays on their lot racks up storage fees and interest for the dealership.
In what universe does physical buttons and an actual wired-to-the-base handset equal “hands free”?
I would imagine that it is body on frame, but the the body itself is effectively one unit ... the bed is not separate from the cab based on the pictures / renderings above. But the Avalanche was body on frame too. It’s not about the frame, it’s about the long sheets of metal that comprise the body being stiffer at one…
I’d rather see it without the buttresses.
Eyephones make up about 2/5ths of the smartphone devices in the wild. A patent for software on an Apple device wouldn’t be relevant to software for Android or Windows or other OSes. And holding a patent on one software implementation does not in any way shape or form prevent development of other solutions.

Data storage constraints are very real, though, because left to their own devices people won’t delete anything.
automatically deletes all emails older than 3 years. All in the name of “data storage constraints”.
Oh man you picked the disco version? I absolutely hated it when they “updated” the theme song and made it disco. The original was all brassy, no bop. I was one of those kids with long hair yelling ‘disco sucks’ at every opportunity in the late 70's.
If you’re in a job and they’re coming to you trying to recruit you, then you have a lot of power.
Bear in mind this situation is in Canadaland, not the U.S. ... there can be some rather drastic differences in insurance & safety laws between our two nations. As one or more Canadishers has posted elsewhere, they have a radically different car insurance mechanism. That repair shop may be held to certain legal…
