At the risk of sounding like an old, I’ve come to realize that most of the people who defend this movie or say it’s their favorite F&F are those who first saw it at impressionable age of ~10-15 years old (now in their low to mid 20s??). Coincidentally, the more ignorant of those are also the ones who ask if I drift

Sounds like you’re looking for a C63 wagon, which unfortunately doesn’t exist in the US, assuming that’s where you’re located.

Except most (all?) replicas are cast while many of the originals are forged.

So you’re saying it’ll be the late ‘90s to ‘00s again. =P

The problem with Mini getting in the AWD hot hatch game is that even if they came in at $40k with or without the thousands you can spend on options, it would probably still have something like 230 HP if their lineup history is anything to go by. People are already balking at the est. $35k for the Type R because it

$35k in 2009 is almost $40k in 2017 dollars, though. And the S2000 was a pretty bare bones car. Assuming they’d add in some modern creature comforts like they inevitably would, ~$45k for an S2000 successor wouldn’t be surprising. It would suck, but it wouldn’t be surprising.

I know it’s a bit of a different animal and from a different time, but the previous Type R we got in the US, NO dealers were dying to get rid of them, not even up until the bitter end. I know this because I was trying to see if I could get a deal on one from multiple dealers and only got one to agree to MSRP, while

I know San Diego is greener than normal due to all the rain they’ve been getting but where were these pictures taken? I wouldn’t have thought they were from SD!

So good to hear something other than an LS coming out of those drift cars.

Japan also switched to the 2.2 in 2006. Not sure if any other markets did.

I think a big part of the problem also has to do with how lazy many millenials are. They can’t be bothered to search around, negotiate, or travel a bit for a good deal. Having frequented forums over the years for cars whose owners typically skew towards the younger end of the spectrum, it’s pretty common to see them

I scrolled past this post really fast but came back because I thought the pic up top was Mr. Bean.

I didn’t even read the article but seeing the leading image just made me come in here to say I wish there was a No More Heroes 3.

I can (sort of) understand when people do it because they’ve been driving for a while with their high beams on out of necessity and forget to turn them off when another car approaches. What bugs me the most is when people knowingly do it because one of their low beams is burnt out. Your high beams aren’t a spare set

Magnus Walker must’ve gotten his hands on that hood and got carried away with his “signature touches.”

That’s funny, I made a (sort of) similar transition from a US ‘02 EP3 Si to a ‘08 STI. However, if the US got the EP3-R and that was what I owned, I might’ve never made the transition to the STI. In fact, I might still own it now. But doing a full-on Type R conversion was just too much money to be worth it so I

XENOGEARS, PLEASE!!!

AutoTrader was great when I used it many years ago to sell some cars. When I used it again earlier this year, it ended up being a big waste of money.

I guess the money that I paid to list my last car went to something useful in hiring Doug... or is it an even larger slap in the face?

J/K (maybe). Good luck, Doug! As
