I always wished that manufacturers would give the option to get some of the crazy and imaginative camo wraps they use for pre-production vehicles.  Props to Dodge for doing something in a similar vein.

To be fair, those same dealers would be asking $60k for it regardless, so why not throw in some “free” accessories and make it a deal?  ;)

I see what you’re saying but I feel like you’re touching on a few different things. I was focusing on your statement about this new breed of hot Hondas being too expensive compared to their competitors vs the hot Hondas of old. What I’m trying to say is that that’s always been the case. The DC2R stickered at an

I specifically didn’t reference the ITR in my original post because I’m assuming there’s a good chance there’ll be something hotter than the new Integra A-spec but I think comparing it to a GS-R is fair. I doubt the new Integra would be equivalent to a RS/LS/GS... but if that were actually the case, you could argue

Not to be “that guy” but in 2000, the Integra GS-R had an MSRP of around $22k and Civic Si stickered around $17k, if memory serves. In period, I wouldn’t say they were considered affordable by the average young enthusiast (many settled for 2nd hand RS/LS/GS Integras and DX/LX/EX Civics).

BMW is claiming a middle ground for the M3 Touring at 3.6 seconds, though they didn’t say whether or not that was for the Touring or the Touring Competiton.

The problems started with the 4-speeds transmissions paired with the new J-series V6s in the ‘98 Accords (which also made it to the Odyssey, TL, and CL of that generation before switching to the 5-speed). They were all ticking time bombs.

The comments in this article about the car being “only” a DX and needing to upgrade to LX for certain features... this gen’s hatches only went up to a DX in the US.

It could be something as simple as the clutch position sensor.

Curious about this as well. I’ve read that BMW ditched the N55 mainly because it wouldn’t meet Euro emissions requirements anymore, which is why the M2 went to the M2C and the S55 after only 2 years on the market. So, it’d make sense that the A90 wouldn’t use the N55 anymore since BMW was dropping it from their lineup

Blue and yellow with stars... I dig it.

If this had full backwards compatibility like originally rumored, I likely would’ve purchased it as soon as I was able to despite assuming that there’d be a Pro model somewhere down the line. Now that full BC’s no longer a thing, I don’t mind waiting at all.

I’ve often wondered about this. There’s a pretty popular automotive clothing/lifestyle (?) brand that posts a lot of photos of old cars leading up to each new apparel drop. Some look archival, some are more current, none of them are tagged or credited. Now, maybe the same images that they end up printing on their

I think they suffered from too much content to fill too few episodes. Each one was like a teaser trailer, to the point where I didn’t even realize that the season was over when episode 10 finished.

For the first season, I felt like they had to really focus on making it work without MB and Ferrari so they went a lot

Does all the flatbill bros wearing Monster flatbill hats count?

The difference is, have wagons EVER been at the forefront of desirability for the mainstream, especially in the US?  My vote is “no” and that is what’ll drive the cycle.

Came here to see if someone would mention the headline pic.  I also still have one, sealed.

I agree. People look back at the original NSX with rose-tinted glasses but those of us who were around when they were still available new at dealerships will remember that many of the same things being said about the current NSX were said of the original; great driver’s car but too expensive, there are higher

I don’t know what the package structure is for upgraded headlights but there’s a GLC/GLE I see regularly that has the LED emblem and standard halogen reflector headlights. I guess it helps to show off your emblem even more, since there’s such a stark contrast between the LED glow and the yellowish hue of the halogens.

This was one of the more annoying things about the Subaru tuner fandom, which I’ve found to manifest itself in varying ways amongst other enthusiast car groups. There was always a list of known/accepted mods that you were “supposed” to do to the car to make it whole.

Don’t like the way your STI feels when cornering?
