Yeah and those add up. People talking about this lion’s death having further repercussions... Factory farming does a whole lot of damage to the environment and our food chain.

Same! When I first started it seemed really hard, or at least inconvenient. But now it's like autopilot. Not to mention my first year as a veg I lost 13 pounds without changing much else about my lifestyle!

“If Donald Trump can assault and rape his wife...”

Well, I’ve never heard him make fun of his own people.

‘Rich white sociopaths’ springs to mind. But there’s still time for him to turn on the groups he’s a part of!

Someone start a movement to bring breast pumps to the Republican debates.

Actually, it is pertinent to report on someone who preaches one thing and then does the opposite if they are in a position of public authority and qualify as a public figure (protip: If you’re a politician of any kind, you’re a public figure).

They’re not staying with their parents, they’re staying with Oklahoma. Let them move into the home their mother owns if they need a place to stay and pay their own damn utility bills.

Did you even read the article Bae?

Then cut them a fucking check for rent money and get the damn trailer off of the people of Okalahoma’s property.

Further to your point, there’s not a governor in the country right now that couldn’t pick up the phone and get their kids a job with one of their larger political donors who put them in office. If the grown kids aren’t working it’s because they just don’t want to and would rather live for free off OK taxpayers. So,

I think it’s just the hypocrisy of it, that here rather than being sympathetic to this b/c you’re right, A LOT of adult children need help from their parents, no she preaches the archaic and trite “pull yourself up by your boot straps” when CLEARLY her own children aren't...so how realistic is to tell people to be

We? Do you work for Jezebel.com?

Who is “we”

I get that you’re being “respectful of the kids”. But this is a 28 year old woman. Who continually thumbs her nose at the Oklahoma people, makes fun of Native Americans, and generally is a lazy bum. I’m not okay with her living in a trailer at my Governors mansion.

I’m paying income tax in Oklahoma right now, and I’d rather not pay Christina Fallin’s utility bills. Beyond the hypocrisy of her mother, she’s acted shamelessly in regard to the requests of the native population in both Oklahoma and the entire country. On top of that, the travel trailer reflects badly on our state.

What about those people on welfare with kids? Their kids weren’t left out of it.

Her kids are adults. I’m not sure what the moral high ground is. A politician is abusing her position and letting her family break the law other citizens would be beholden to. That seems newsworthy to me.

Eh. Yes, there are. There’s my brother who graduated from law school and had to move back in with my parents while he studied for the bar and tried to get a job. And then there’s my boyfriend who’s struggling to find work and is making ends meet by doing freelance IT for his dad’s company. And there’s lots and lots of

Mary Fallin signed a law requiring welfare recipients to get drug-tested to receive food stamps. She talks constantly about self-reliance, personal responsibility, and cutting government waste. It’s rather noteworthy that her children are living on the taxpayers of the state, in an arrangement that in Christina’s case
