Retta! The best. She is just so amazing.
Fun fact: Abortion is 100% illegal in El Salvador. Not even for the health of the mother or the baby or in the case of rape and incest.
So you believe everyone of every age who has ever committed any level of crime as defined by the state should drop dead? Only angels deserve to live? What kind of point exactly are you trying to make here?
Oh OK. Guess she deserved to die then.
In the US justice system as it currently exists, that supposition is nowhere near as true as we’d all like to think.
I guess we shall agree to disagree.
What, wait? Completely agreed for minor and/or nonviolent crimes, but what about kids who've committed serious violent offences? School shooters, rapists, etc.?
probably STDS (Sudden Teen Death Syndrome).
Not hard to understand.
While a factor is not a thing that plays (I don’t know how in fuck that dumb-ass nonsense expression gained traction), you are right on all points.
Here’s what I’ve gathered (and agree with):
My point is about inconveniencing people. The sit-ins at lunch counters that ‘served whites only’, kneel-ins in white churches, marches down busy streets, and sit ins outside stores.
I’m not sure if you know this but this but that’s kind of the point. That’s why civil disobedience is a tried and true method. See: the Civil Right’s Movement, not just in America but around the world:
Rosa Parks has something to say about how ineffectual interrupting commutes are...
You think you’re an ally, but you’re not.
There really is no winning. But you've got a couple of comments here that show this woman displayed just the right amount of passivity for some white people, so... score?
Like what? Are you saying we should keep the people in power and effectively tell them “its ok. do what you want youll get to keep your job””?
That’s the kicker. I don’t know what amount of money you would have to save to justify poisoning thousands of children with a substance we know leads to increased aggression and impulsivity (while decreasing cognitive function), but 25% after 25 years surely is not it.
