I feel much of the same way. I didn’t realize until very late that Crybaby is essentially a modern retelling of the original, so it hits on all the same major plot points, for better or worse.

You know it's fun when stairs are top-tier.

Thank you. I played the heck out of The Bouncer when I was younger, and I still feel like one of few people who actually liked the game, despite its ridiculousness.

As excited as I am to see the dev team get back on their feet and finally get this game out, the demo had performance issues that made it feel choppy and clunky. I hope it’s not indicative of the full game.

Optional, most likely. Not sure about bonus content.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention what happens when Daniella succeeds in killing Fiona. The mostly stoic Daniella bursting into a horrifying insane fit of laughter as she gets what she’s looking for really kicks it up to 11. shudder

Oh yeah. It’s surprisingly violent, but I think it captures the terrible and thoughtless things we can do when emotions are running high. It’s horrifying, selfish, and destructive but there’s instant regret afterwards.

It definitely takes a certain cultural perspective. I grew up in an Asian household and got it immediately, but I noticed a lot of people were confused.

Long-time fan here. The series is absurd and inconsistent at times, but I’ve primarily stuck around for the core mysteries at the center of each story arc and the action.

Walmart has been out of stock of Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition for several hours today, but the same deal is available at Best Buy. The base game is also on sale there for $10.

Nu’est has never really been that popular, but they’re starting to get there after appearing on a reality show last year. They probably would have disbanded if it weren’t for the large audience and the support they received, which led them to their first hit after five years of hard work and bad management decisions.

There’s a walkway over the deck where you spawn into the Tower, and there’s some equipment you can examine to start the mini-game.

My clan specifies that we should wear purple, but I’m really digging the Dawn and Dusk shader regardless.

This sounds like it could be nice and laidback, which I can appreciate. I can’t help but wonder if there will be a dark turn somewhere though.

The game allows for some creativity in assembling juggle combos, but you can generally narrow them down to a similar structure:

I’m also surprised about Virtua Fighter 5, as well as 4. I thought either of them would have placed higher than Soulcalibur V or Dead or Alive 5, especially since Tecmo backed out of the arcade scene for the longest time.

I didn’t attend, but I do feel some pride seeing all these talented cosplayers in my hometown. On the other hand, I have no idea how this convention is still running, considering organizational problems and the controversy that was unveiled a few years back.

I think Vanillaware and Atlus went above and beyond for the Odin Sphere re-release, even if they didn’t need to. Fans can replay it, new players can experience it for the first time, and it runs and controls better overall.

I am so glad they brought this feature back from Persona 1 and 2. The negotiation system was a really unique highlight above the slower and clumsier battle system of the time. It also adds a special flavor to enemies that I felt was missing from Persona 3 and 4; Atlus’s Persona designs always had a lot more

Ah, no wonder. Being ambushed is pretty brutal in this game. Hope you manage to figure things out. Good luck!
