Not to troll but my Honda Passport is built in Alabama!

We’re entering a world where repetitive physical labor jobs will all be automated and the only jobs available are for people who can demonstrate a high level of social intelligence and who can solve complex problems that may arise over the course of their day to day job functions. Technologies change and so do the

Having rented one of these, it was an ok car (for a budget-minded college student) that got the job done. And omigosh on the ground clearance. I just got a 19 Honda Passport eith the same ground clearance 🤣

Childless single millenial here. Happy with my recent purchase of a Passport!! Just drove through a winter storm in the Sierras and the SH-AWD....erm I mean VTM-4 performed well!

My car doesn’t go anywhere until my winshield is defrosted enough that I can see through it to not harm myself or others. If there is a little extra wear on my engine so be it.

I live in northern CA and bought a CRV with AWD for that maybe one time per year that I drive to Reno, NV ( which hilariously i have not this year). But there is another benefit to AWD that doesn’t have anything to do with snow...mitigating torque steer. Cars like the Camry V6 or the Maxima would benefit from AWD.

The Legally Blonde Boxter will always be ICONIC!!

I hope you’re right, but the plunge protection team has been working serious overtime this week.

I put supertech in my 09 Honda Fit. Still running like a beast at 187K.

Contracts can’t protect you from gross neglegence or illegal activities. The guy made an illegal u-turn. I hope the vehicle owner’s insurance fights this.

I can believe it. I’m an insurance adjuster. I totaled an 09 370z with 60k miles (base model no options, auto trans). The car was worth 16k but he owed $27K. He had gap so he didn’t care. He was relieved I wrote it off, but now he’s off to start the viscious cylcle again.

C-Class? Those things tank after 3 years!

If the weld holds, I wouldn’t mind. There are plenty of manufacturers who publish guidelines on where to apply welds on a car involved in a collision. Heck some manufacturers like BMW don’t want you to weld but use adhesives to get the car back to pre-loss condition. If they weren’t able to get the structural

Do the European Delivery option.

They don’t always have exempt plates. Some cars are registered normally and are plain looking. Some departments use these for stake outs. Luckily they are less likely to pull you over as officers/detectives driving these cars have bigger fish to fry.

Over time, I’ve noticed slight differences between interceptors and regular spec explorers. Interceptors have halogen headlights with no DRLs. Explorer’s DRL is the lowbeam LED. So if you see an explorer with no low beams on (during the day) or halogens on (at night), that’s an interceptor. Interceptors also have a

If you get denied by Hyundai/Kia, you need to re-evaluate the decisions you made in your life to get to this point and seek help with a credit repair agency.

A modest proposal: US gives a tax credit to people who buy domestically produced vehicles with certain amount of domestically souced parts (lets say 65%). Not a tariff but gets the same job done.

But his 20k miles are fleet miles. I myself have a company car (escape). The car is driven pretty hard and idles when I’m not driving. So those 20k miles are more like 40k miles for people who drive normally.

Hate to break it to you, but you can’t entirely blame CA. Technology is advancing whether you like it or not. Cars are getting heavier because Americans want bigger cars and SUV’s but are still safe. That means more airbags, more exotic materials (aluminum, boron, carbon fiber, high strength steel). 2000 lbs Geo
