As a Cavs fan I’m wondering if maybe Kyrie isn’t actually that good. The Celtics got to the ECF without him last year, the Cavs weren’t even that much worse without him. Like maybe Kyrie is just Damian Lillard or Kemba Walker with trouble getting along with people.

I was hoping I could pick him up for a song.

Kyrie is really good. Rozier is not yet proven. That said, I don’t think this is a huge loss for the Celtics. I think Rozier getting full time minutes with Stevens as the coach will continue to become a really good player, if not somewhat comparable to Kyrie.
