this apparently happened to Mike Tirico during a cursed round that he and Ron Jaworski played against Trump and Jon Gruden

My bad, I thought it looked like Diaz.

Wait, if his foot was in first at home, isn’t he just safe? He has to stay on home plate through the tag? For a second I thought that was CB Bucknor, but maybe Laz Diaz is just as bad.

As with anything Knicks-related, there’s always a JD and the Straight Shot song that applies. I’m going to go with the “Going Nowhere Good” B-side from the “Where I’ve Been” album.

My god, I think this represents the opening of the fifth seal in the book of revelations. Welp, only two more to go.

I feel like Barry’s in a “contest” with other Deadspin staffers and this is his way of getting some of them to drop out.

Loved this article - thanks!

HR has concluded it’s investigation and you’re in the clear.

The blue striped Russell, Bill in his natural habitat

Everyone knows the clubhouse of for eating chicken wings and drinking beer during the game, NOT playing video games.

If I changed my shoes as often as basketball players, my feet would just be two giant blisters.  I hate breaking in new shoes.

A lot of free publicity for Dairy Queen there. I could really go for a Blizzard right now.

Watch your crotch Steve.

JT was/is petty as fuck but I’ll always love him (Georgetown alum here).

I agree with this.

And almost 100% of the ones you do.

That shot chart is Gruden-like. However, my favorite NBA visualization is still this Google search result:

That’s crazy. He’s also a 7-year vet. If he plays 7 more years and keeps rebounding at close to his same rates (he has 7100 total now and is almost top 100 in NBA history), he will end up at least top 10 in rebounds all-time. With less than 20 games left, he should easily move past Kevin McHale and Alonzo Mourning

Agreed but I’m not sure that most bigs today spend as much time on their footwork and offensive pivots down low as previous generations did.

Any idea when these MEB pre-orders will be available in the U.S.?
