Yes, this! My mom in the 80's - you can tell she always looked put together, hair, makeup, nails done, and a slender frame which meant she looked good in almost everything... but man it was all just so UGLY. You can tell she looked cool for the time, but yeeesh... really unfortunate time period for fashionable people.

I would disagree- I care a lot about fashion and shop from all price points, including Old Navy. What I cannot do, is pay way too much for junk at Banana Republic (whose quality has gone WAY down in the past 10 or so years). I feel you, M.C. at home and at work, I turn off overhead lighting and switch on lamps. I actually don’t trust people who use their overhead lights (minus rooms like- kitchens and bathrooms. You really need to see what’s going on in there).
