Unfortunately I've got more than one blackout story, and except for one where I adopted not one, but two dogs from the animal shelter, all of them involve sex. I don't get that.

Asking someone if they’re suicidal is not a standard question when booking someone into jail. Also, not all jails even have a nurse check all people being booked in. I know our state (HI) doesn't.

I worked as an RN at a CA county jail and while it is true every person booked got screened by a nurse, we didn’t do mental health evaluations. If the person stated they were suicidal, they would be placed on at minimum, every 15 minute observation status.

I'm not ready to give her the benefit of the doubt, knowing her history of attention-seeking. One sentence in the media doesn't convince me either. But whatever. I'm just surprised at the number of people who are switching their opinions of her based on one sentence.

I don't know. At least from this article, it seems she's confusing sexuality with gender. She's just basically saying she's bisexual, which at her age is pretty normal.

I'd like to think it was a message from the guest about how vapid and unnecessary they are.

You might be right about culture. I haven’t been to the mainland for 5 years or so, so don’t know what it’s like there, but in Hawaii, tribal tats are not uncommon on the face. But then men doing hula and wearing skirts is also sexy here ;)

Some hospitals make staff cover visible tattoos with band aids or makeup.

I was at a drugstore and happened to glance at a guy looking towards his right and then immediately he turned his head the other way...and the entire right half of his face was a tribal tattoo. It was creepy, almost monstrous, I think because I saw the unlinked side first.
