My family are ALL like that. I think this is just a form of narcissism and should be treated as such.

Some people with high cholesterol have it because it's hereditary. Usually if it's the familial form, no amount of diet/exercise will fix it. They need medication to treat it.

Nice pictures! I use cloth napkins, hand towels and rags for almost everything. Paper towels should not be used for drying clean hands, people. What a waste of money and resources.

I live in Honolulu, and everything is expensive here. Costco is always cheaper. There is no Trader Joes. Even farmers markets are ridiculously expensive. At Safeway it's over ten bucks for a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread. Melons are two dollars a pound, so a watermelon is like ten bucks. It's crazy.

How offensive to categorize Hawaii residents as "these people", and to say all of our legislators are unable to have a "reasoned view". What do you know of the political orientation of "these people"?

I think I figured out the answer to my own question. Here in HI, tonight's moonrise is at 7:06pm, while it's still light out. Moon set is at 5:31 am, and sunrise is at 5:49, so it won't be dark enough for either to get the full effect of the visual on the horizon.
