I spent $25 bucks on something that looked like this. I feel no shame. It was vintage 1940s red depression glass (which I have been collecting for 24 years.)

Yeah. Bobbi Brown swears that lining all around is best for smaller eyes, but I have not found that to be true. Certainly, Taylor Swift’s liner does nothing for making her eyes look open or larger.

She has much heavier lower lid mascara in the older photo, and what appears to be some shading on the lower lid under the lashes. It does make the eyes pop and appear larger.

It’s the super dark lips. None of her other pictures have it.

Her eyebrow shape and her thin, twisty upper lip are such signifiers of her look that to see both obliterated and just turned into something so generic really throws things off.

Once, an 8-top of Christians left one of those “Here’s a Tip for You!” pamphlets on my table, in lieu of a cash tip. I was sort of used to this, so I didn’t remark much, just tossed it into the bus tub with the rest of the debris, and a glower.
