I’m extremely short torsoed, and have a 13 inch waist hip differential. I need that lower rise like most people need oxygen, so I totally understand.
High waisted anything anything me look stumpy and wide.

I know I eventually will have to slow way down. I’m working hard now in the hopes I can get myself to a comfortable position once I reach that point.
If I need inexpensive make up, I go choose from the drugstore lines. I’m not seeing why beauty would be a big seller for H&M.....impulse grabs at the register?
Please see post above. ~watches point fly prettily into the skies above your head~
If by “peach” you mean “most likely Southern, as they’ve mastered being backhanded and passive aggressive”, I agree.
Healthy does not always equal “thin”. Anyone who does not realize that the two terms are not synonymous wouldn’t know the basic tenets of a “healthy lifestyle” if it jumped up and slapped them with a piece of organic kale.
Who let left the gate out of the greys open?
We could totally be friends, as you are fucking awesome.
This is a concept I feel Americans really struggle with.....it’s better to eat reasonable amounts of whatever food you like (burritos, pizza, chocolate, whatever) the go on the miserable deprivation binges of low sugar low fat faux “healthy” crap that makes you miserable.
I’m on your team on this one. If you worked in…
I will only thrift for accessories. If I’m going to dig through racks, its going to be at the deep discount department stores, as I’ll have a range of sizes for an given item to choose from. I’m not quite tall, really short torsoed and my butt is 2-3 dress sizes bigger than my waist.
Thrifting for clothes has never…
Most of the bronzers I’ve tried are way too dark/muddy, as I am also really pale. Instead I use a light hand and a peach-y blush on the spots the sun would naturally hit.
The wet and wild lipliners are awesome for the price.
A hairdresser is always going to be able to tell.
This is a well done “natural” look. It makes you notice how beautiful here features are, without it being super obvious how make up was used to play them up a bit.
Also,if we collectively stopped going to the super cheap salons. A place charging $ 25 for a full set and a pedicure can not possibly be paying employees a living wage and their astronomical New York rent.
The math just doesn’t work out.
I used to carry all of my daily needs in a cell phone wallet or a tiny wristlet. If it wasn’t for my having to lug my make up/clothing changes around so I can do a quick change between my day job and my night job, I’d still be just fine with a tiny wristlet.
I had a pair of shoes that exact same shape as a teenager. Mine were lipstick mouth printed with a white platform.
I think this bars me from wearing them this time around
I’m not super attached to my hair, but there seems to be a serious lack of curl savvy stylists. When I find a good one, I stick to them, just to reduce my stress level at the number of fucked up cuts I’ve gotten because a stylist cut my hair as if it were straight.
I don’t see why people would. The poor baby could end up ingesting those little choppy bits of hair. That’s a fair point.
There are no absolutes in person style. I’ve seen ladies who have bright/unnatural colors who looks amazing in minimal make up, and some bright hair dye fans who prefer a more dramatic face.
