I will try it with Aqua Rouge, as I've attempted with other long wear liquids, but the formulas didn't blend as nicely as I would have liked, even when I nailed the speed run :D

There's enough people selling it that I'm pretty sure it can't just be getting purchased for Halloween/1 off uses. I wish humans were that rational.

I will give it a go. I've got a bunch of grey lipsticks en route, and a black/grey/white fade would be awesome if I can manage it.

Sorry, totally is. I know....it's painful for me too.

Not all formulas are created equal, so maybe it is a matter of being too lazy to seek out the perfect variant of unusual colors? Maybe they just want to feel like cosmetic chemists?

They don't exist for long.....the second you move your mouth, the ombre starts to smudge. I've been trying to figure out a solution to that problem for a while.....so far experiments are a fail.

On a slightly related note, I also wish beauty bloggers would stop with the god damned Crayola (like made of actual crayons) lipstick already. "Non Toxic" does not equal skin safe, safe to ingest daily or cosmetic/food grade.

I'm really inept at most crafty/sewing projects......I'd need a buddy to make sure I didn't manage to freakishly injure myself while bending the center pin.

That hair. Do very much want, if in some bizarro universe I looked half decent blonde.

They were the cause of the single worst haircut I've ever had. Considering how many hairdressers have had their way with my head (as I used to do a lot of beauty shoots when I modeled), the fact that they were bar none specifically remembered as the height of all fuckery is saying something.

A lot of people love them, and if it works in their case, awesome. Me, personally? Never again.

You are the second person to speak well of Blackstones. Definitely a good sign, going to check it out :)

I'm going to investigate this magic. If it works, I owe you fancy chocolate. Thank you so much :)

I'm also in the 2B family, and I comb out my hair in the morning, with some detangler, as it gets knotted while I sleep.

I like the products, but 3 different cuts from 3 different stylists there have all been bad news. I finally just stopped trying to support an idea I loved in theory, but was awful for me in practice.

I condition everyday, but not overwashing (I'm on a twice a week schedule as well) saved my hair life.

Any NYC locals have a good hairdresser for curls? My beloved hairdresser moved, and I need a new one/am so over having long hair.

That looks like ouch

Not me. I have a very short torso, and high waisted anything makes me look like a poorly cut log, stumpy and wide.

I spent most of my life as a happy, confident human with short hair.
