I wish him the best, and will unoriginally bring up his excellent insurance. I just wish these people could act human and think about how scary a crappy diagnosis is even when you don’t have to worry about the cost. His family is probably scared as hell, but they can focus on being by his side, and don’t have to worry

LOL, a lot of us grew up on V.C. Andrews. ;)

“But Robb created the situation where he had to beg for help from people to whom he’d broken a vow because of his dick.”

I agree. I read an article that noticed a detail in Sam’s book that might come into play.

Then he was awfully confident there would be a Sansa to get back. Ramsey wouldn’t kill her, but he could have destroyed her in so many ways, and was trying.

I think we’re all agreed on Ed Sheeran. ;)

How do you mean?

Sansa has a lot of knowledge of the players, but Cersei also told Joffrey in, like, the second of third episode — and I think in the book too — that going to war with the north in Winter is dumb as hell. Sansa has not seen the WW, but Jon has, and in his place I’d probably see them as a greater threat too.

I can see where you’re coming from on that. I don’t see his destiny as the Lord of Winterfell though. It has to be Sansa or Bran. Arya, if she survives, is lost to her old life.

My guess is that most realistic scenario is Jon finds out about his parentage and then meets Aunt Dany. Gets to ride a dragon. Ends up on the Iron Throne.

His father has been dead for a while and he’s infectious. And The Citadel is not a bad place to go for a possible cure.

Rightful leaders express a desire for leadership. Sansa chose, for the moment, to step back. Clearly this is now chafing, but the decision to declare Jon king made sense in lieu of other contenders.

That montage went on for a year. A year, I say!

I think if Sansa were a true weakness he wouldn’t have pimped her out to a Kibbles and Bits.

Well, I think she was referring to herself as winter in this scenario. But the whole episode was jarring in it’s pace, where everyone seemed to be in possession of a ton of info instead of seeing them discovering recent developments.

Arya has always played a little like Walter White ... you cheer her on until you end up at “Wait! What?!?!” Only some people never reach that point. That doesn’t mean that they’re not writing her (and playing her) as someone deeply damaged by repeated tragedies.

You’re just jelly that an obese 70 year old man-baby hasn’t opined on your figure while his rheumy eyes take in every inch of you.*
