Here’s a happy story! I’ve told it here before.

Last time I started to watch, I didn’t even make it past the family leaving the pets and their confusion. Sobbing. I used to at least make it to Shadow telling Chance to go on without him.

I just discovered it in the last week or so, and binged the whole thing. Sutton Foster is gorgeous, but the premise of the show — that she looks 26 — involved a lot of suspension of disbelief.

That was deeply uncomfortable. How many last ones and one mores can there be?

Agreed. They’re all too often at the mercy of unworthy people.

Some dogs do, in fact, get worse. Yours didn’t, I get it, but others do.

You sound wonderful! Pepsi is lucky, as was Princess.

With any publicly shared opinion, there is a cumulative cost in that the opinion is viewed by people who might be going through a similar issue. The message in this thread (even if the intention was harmless celebrity snark) is there’s something shameful in rehoming a pet, and anyone who needs to do so is a crappy

“We have no issue with Lena Dunham other than her apparently making up parts of her dogs history that no one else can confirm could possibly exist.”

You have no idea if she replaced this dog in the cold-hearted way you suggest.

“Is she not allowed to ever get another dog because, despite trying a bunch of things, she couldn’t make it work with her first dog?”

Considering this post was from April, and I barely remember the event and had not given more thought to it since then, I’d say a better summary of “now” would be that I’ve moved on. :)

I worked at an animal shelter for years, and every once in a while an individual animal would trigger an allergic reaction. ::shrug::

“and it’s the only way this idiot could ever inspire an actual erection”

Northern MN. Comfort food. :)

I’m decades younger than this affront to common decency and yet I feel too old to use “haters” non-ironically.

“I’m so sorry this happened. So embarrassing and definitely not what you signed up for. We’re excited for our children to grow up in the community built around the restaurant, but not at the expense of your dining experience! I hope we can make this right for you. Please private message me, and I promise your next

The way it plays out in my head involves the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
